As a world wonder, definitely with the visit. We have been in many caves and found this one to be unique, helpful information, and amazingly well protected (as compared to sites in Mexico)Full review by 741jeffreya

I wore a hat and a face mask. Overall I think there is little risk of disease transmission between bats and the boat.

I went there with a tour, so I'm not sure how it works when you do it on your own. I saw a couple in Sabang who booked their own tour to Underground River but I don't know how it ended. All I know, they had to wait even longer for a boat that took them to the point where the Undreground River tour actually starts. (You are not able to kayak there, it is about 30 minutes by boat on the sea and it's quite wavy.) The tour itself in the cave, on the other hand, is on a small boat and a guy is paddling at the back. The cave is quite dark, so you won't even see than there is someone else on the boat too.
Q:
how much is the current UR tour for locals?

The rate that I have is for 2018. If there are any increase, I guess that will be at least 10-20%. If you are going to do-it-your own tour. local and international have the same rate: Php …

The rate that I have is for 2018. If there are any increase, I guess that will be at least 10-20%. If you are going to do-it-your own tour. local and international have the same rate: Php 735 which includes the entrances, envi. fees, and audio device. additional rate will be the boat ride 2 way: Php 180+. Hope that it'll help you.
