Police departments across the United States are investigating a wave of attacks on Tesla showrooms, charging stations and vehicles.

As Las Vegas police said Wednesday that no arrests had been made in the fires that torched several Teslas a day earlier, some owners of the popular electric vehicles said they were worried about possible acts of vandalism to their cars.

Peaceful Tesla protests have taken place across the country—but some dealerships have also been hit with acts of vandalism, including gunfire and arson, in protests apparently directed at Elon Musk.
