Liverpool star Diogo Jota heaped praise on Mohamed Salah in an exclusive interview with ESPN, saying he should be considered one of the greatest players in the club's history.

Rodrygo is perhaps not yet at Salah's level, but he's close and more importantly, he's almost a decade younger. Liverpool should see the 24-year-old winger as their number one option to replace Salah. With the Reds, Rodrygo could continue to blossom into his prime years and become a core piece for the foreseeable future.

Troy Deeney claimed on talkSPORT that after Salah headed straight down the tunnel after Liverpool’s win against Brentford, it seemed like an exit away from the Merseyside-based club could be on his mind. “Something’s up with that fella today. Whether it’s something with Saudi, whether there’s a move but he’s not been at the races today.”
