As the 2024-25 season progresses, one thing remains constant: the Philadelphia 76ers have a stacked injury report. Thankfully for the Indiana Pacers, amid an 8-2 stretch in their previous 10 games, they host the battered 76ers on Saturday. Embiid is scheduled to be reevaluated in seven to 10 days. The news arrived after Embiid missed the previous six games because of a sprained left foot. The seven-time All-Star has only played in 13 games this season due to the sprained foot, knee swelling, left knee management, right sinus fracture, and a three-game suspension.

Joel Embiid will miss at least three more games as he continues to recover from another injury to his left knee.

If a team is  somewhere in the middle, it better have a clear direction because floundering around play-in territory is the NBA’s version of purgatory.
