With the Eagles in the red zone after the Commanders fumbled the kickoff in the first half of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, it appeared that Washington was poised to hold the Eagles to three points. Barkley was about to be stopped short on third down. In fact, he was already conceding the play and heading out of bounds.

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is having one heck of a season and even an opponent from the Dallas Cowboy calls him "the best."

Barkley entered the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders needing just 147 rushing yards to surpass Terrell Davis' record of 2,476 yards (including regular season and playoffs). The Eagles star made a serious push to break that record after scoring a 60-yard touchdown on the team's first play of the game.
