The announcement results in a completely reimagined tournament format, with a primary focus on professional play. Amateurs will now compete alongside professionals (80 players) over the first two rounds, with the competition limited to professionals only for the final two rounds at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Official PGA TOUR tournament competition tees off Thursday with play on Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday practice rounds are closed to the public. Daily tickets for Thursday-Sunday go on sale Tuesday, November 12th.
